We look forward to seeing you this academic year at a Mental Health Evening Lecture, Pediatric Evening Lecture, or a Tuesday morning Grand Rounds. We are pleased to offer the option to view our Grand Rounds lectures via live stream or on demand; for additional instructions to view click here. If you have not already done so, we encourage you to join over 300 physicians and mid-levels that took a few minutes to register for a Connecticut Children’s CME account online. Once registered you will receive CME Certificates via email. You will also be able to print & view your Grand Rounds CME Certificates; for intrucstions click here.

As a reminder, you must witness the entire didactic portion of a CME activity to receive A
MA PRA Category 1 Credit(s)TM. There are also state-mandated CME licensure requirements for physicians, which include the need for applicants to earn at least 50 hours of CME credit in the previous two years. A one-hour minimum of training or education is also required every six years* in each of the following topics:

  • Risk Management
  • Cultural Competencies
  • Sexual Assault
  • Infectious Disease (must include AIDS and HIV)
  • Domestic Violence
  • Behavioral Health

Lectures which fulfill these requirements will be clearly marked on all CME publicity. *For more information on State of Connecticut Department of Public Health Mandatory Continuing Education requirements for physician licensing, click
